Individual psychotherapy is sharing an experience of learning about yourself in new ways.  Too often, we focus on others, to the exclusion of our own needs.   When we can relate to our own needs we are in a better position to help others, to feel satisfied in our relationships and our work.

My clients and I work together to find a way to solve the problems that may be creating  pain and/or worry in their life.  Sometimes, it’s a way to heal the wounds of childhood.  Often, it can open a new road or add a needed dimension to one’s life.

Therapy is a process.   It includes talking, sometimes thinking quietly, sometimes bodily sensing or working with dreams.  Together, we create a path in which to handle anxiety, depression, specific conflicts and to grow into a more whole person.
